July 2024 – After one trip is before the next! – Greetings from Andros!

Marie’s parents returned from their trip to Andros some time ago, and I can reveal that another trip to Andros is coming up soon.
In the meantime, we’ve already received some new photos. Although there aren’t as many as usual, we’d still like to shorten the wait for the upcoming travel report by sharing them with you!
This time, we’ll begin on the side of the island where our friends H. & I. are active.
The first cat to appear before our lens is Eleni, the cat who raised her own kittens and cared for a few orphaned ones at H. & I.’s place. Once the kittens were old enough, Eleni was spayed and returned to her feeding station. She can be seen at the back of the picture; her fur is just growing back.

On the left side of the picture, Nersi is eagerly asking when the food will finally arrive.

Drama, on the other hand, is simply enjoying the day and quietly receives the „Long-time-no-see“ trophy from us, discreetly placed next to the chair, as we last saw her in January 2023!

Another sleepyhead who has to share the trophy with Drama is Vito, whom we also last saw in January 2023!

Ruth, who was spayed just this February, is on the left of the picture. On the right, Gigi looks at us expectantly.

Monakis lives with a family well-known to H. & I. and has found a home there with a breathtaking view!

Petra, who was spayed in May, looks very sweet but is quite the little rascal!

On the other side of the island, we first visit our friend S.

Kalea and Yuki are relaxing in the shade.

Slightly zoomed in and a bit blurry, Athina looks at us. We also see Nikita, Hektor; and another Eleni lives with S. as well.

Now and then, cats from the nearby Feeding Station 2 also make an appearance here, like Scotty…

…and Data, accompanied by a recently rescued tomcat, who now also calls this place home.

Now, here’s a little flood of pictures from the mentioned Feeding Station 2:

Eating at S.’s and resting at Feeding Station 2 – Data and Scotty are quite flexible about it.

Here’s Scotty again, who, thanks to your support, looks more like a well-cared-for house cat than a stray!

Perhaps the cats don’t even have to walk from Feeding Station 2 to S.’s place and back themselves, but instead, have a pick-up and drop-off service like Scotty and Zino?

Here are two group photos from this spot:

Now, we’ll quickly check in at the feeding stations in town and hope that during the upcoming trip, we find our furry friends here and at their other spots safe and sound.

Finally, there’s Evandros, who lives with a local and, having last been seen in January 2023 shares the trophy with Drama and Vito.

As always, we’ll end the report with one of the beautiful pictures of Andros itself, which we receive alongside the many photos of our Andros cats.
