As with the two previous food donations, we once again helped our friends on both sides of the island with food. These deliveries are all the more important as winter is approaching and the stray cats need even more care than usual during this time.
At the end of September, we were able to send our friends H. & I. two pallets with a total of 1,440 kg of dry food. We used the donations that we had gradually received through “feed a cat” since the association was founded. Now the minimum donation amount required for “feed a cat” to send food pallets had been reached.
But our friend S. on the other side of the island was also running low on supplies, so we ordered one of our usual food deliveries of almost 640 kg of dry and wet food from a wholesaler.
While, as mentioned, the first of these two food deliveries was financed through “feed a cat,” we paid for the second delivery to S. from our association’s funds.
