With only a short gap between them, we provided our friends on Andros with the 42nd and 43rd pallets of food since the project began.
In May, S. was able to receive almost 640 kg of wet and dry food, which we ordered from a retailer directly on Andros.
For H. & I., we ordered 700 kg of wet and dry food from a mainland wholesaler, which was delivered to them at the end of July. Our Andros cat, Ruth, is guarding the precious treasure!
ADDENDUM FOR WORLD CAT DAY – NEWS FROM OUR FOOD DONATIONS
To prevent the food (and the additional water provided) from being constantly exposed to the hot weather, our friend S., who also tends these feeding spots, came up with an idea.
Top-class upcycling with materials lying around at the feeding stations, just cut to size a bit, and all at absolutely zero cost!

But S. also feeds the large cat group at his home with the donated food. You’re welcome to guess again who Cariba, Data, Hektor, Kaskader, Koko, Liane, Lisa, Marios, Nikita, Tebetan, and Yuki are. You’ll find the answer in the second picture.
Especially today, on World Cat Day, this is wonderful news from our Andros cats, aren’t they?
