Our Easter has already passed, while the Greek Orthodox Easter is just around the corner—so this is the perfect time to send another round of photo greetings from the Andros cats!
For the first time, we’d also like to introduce the cats living at the feeding stations of our new friends, S. & N.:
We have also received new photos from our „original“ feeding stations, featuring some familiar faces:
Arabella, whom we last saw in July 2024—almost two years ago now.

Time and again, we come across cats we don’t recognize but that have already been neutered. We photographed this one (or perhaps this handsome fellow?) in August 2024, when it was still unneutered. Now the tip of the left ear is missing. A wonderful sign, as it shows that other local residents are also having cats neutered, for example through the municipality’s occasional neutering campaigns.
Now let’s move to the other side of the island, where our friends H. & I. care for the many, many cats…
…or that are looked after by local residents, which fortunately eases the workload for H. & I., although it means we receive photos of them only rarely—like this one of the white Sofia, whose last picture dates back to December 2023.
More frequently, however, we hear about Dagmar, one of the black cats (but don’t ask us which one…), the white Malu, and Adonia in the very back.
Maud and Agiamarina live together in a larger group. Can you spot them? (As always, the answer is revealed in the second photo.)
On the right is Hebe, who was only neutered at the end of last year.
Here is the group we last saw in December 2023, featuring the tortoiseshell Kaisa on the left, the black Nia in the center, and Giasou and Aberforth to her right.
This is another large group where many of our cats live. Can you spot Candy, one of the black cats (we’re not entirely sure whether it’s Coco or Luna), Elara, Gianna, Hathor, Irina, the tabby Luna, and Queenie?

And finally, the ultimate „Where’s Wally?“ challenge! Can you spot Audrey, Bonnie, Danae, Gataros, Jack, Kendro, Naira, Nely, Oikawa, Peny, Rusty, Sikari, Tsoupra, and Yayoi?
With that, we once again say goodbye to our furry protégés on Andros—but we’re happy to announce that a proper travel report will be coming soon!
To everyone planning a trip to Andros, we hope you’ll have better weather than the recent low-pressure systems that brought heavy rain and storms…
…or the Saharan dust that blanketed (not only) Andros in a layer of orange haze.
