December 2025 – Andros-cats Christmas greetings and food palette No. 46

Well, the Andros cats have been keeping a low profile for quite a while! So it’s time to take another look at our cat island. Who will show up this time, we wonder?

It starts with a cat we last saw more than three years ago, in June 2022: Olivia. This is because she is cared for by locals together with other cats, which takes the pressure off H. & I., so they only need to stop by there occasionally.

This gives the two of them more time to take care of smaller emergencies, such as Rina, who returns to her feeding spot here after a few days of treatment and loving care:

Or Audrey, who had to receive medical treatment due to her cold:

Or Gataros—also not seen since January 2023, by the way—because of an ingrown claw:

Or Sphera at the back of the picture, who had to go to the vet together with her brother Circle due to problems with her mouth:

Or Nersi, who was only recently taken into the house to be nursed back to health, but who is already doing much better again.

But enough of medical problem cases for now! Let’s instead enjoy Bitoulis as he makes the most of his private beach!

And now we’ll throw in another little “find-the-cat” picture (solution in the second image). Who can spot Faya, Kokki, Luzie, and Nino?

.

Here’s little Luzie once again in a close-up:

In addition to the cats at the feeding stations, there are also real “shop cats” like Ruth, who is very well-liked at the supermarket:

This is followed by a small cow-cat showcase:

Not cow cats, but united in black and white: Dagmar and Malu.

At H. & I.’s house, among others, the following cats live:

Now it’s time once again for a search picture—this one for experts. To be found are Amour, Audrey, Bonnie, Eloise, Danae, Gataros, Jack, Kendro, Naira, Nely, Peny, Rusty, Sergie, Sikari, and Tsoupra. More than half of them—namely Amour, Bonnie, Danae, Eloise, Naira, Nely, Peny, and Sikari—have not been seen in photos for one and a half to almost two years. Gataros, as mentioned earlier, was last seen as far back as January 2023!

Joining them is Minou, the white cat at the bottom right, who was picked up as a kitten by H. & I. and has now found her home within this group:

To highlight some of the members of this large group, here are a few individual portraits.

Noulis also belongs here but stayed out of the group photo.

Before we travel to the other side of the island, here are a few loose images from various locations that H. & I. look after:

Melli, the reddish multicolored tabby at the top of the picture, was last seen in October 2023.

From left to right: Mila, Wendy, and Mischou.

Here we see Agiamarina again at the front right in her group. Also present are Agiamarina’s mother, Dolores, the multicolored cat at the front center, as well as Maud, the black-and-white cat at the very top.

At the same spot, front center, Gianna.

The black-and-white Mandy, who was only spayed this December, and the white giant Mario.

Ginger

Antonia is on the right side of the picture.

The black cat at the front is not one of our cats, but we use her as a point of reference. To her left stands Thetis, and to her right is Ginger.

Another little search picture in which Hathor, Luna, and Queenie can be discovered:

On the other side of the island, we encountered these cats, whom we last saw two years ago:

Also making an appearance were:

From back to front: Scotty, Data, and Koko.

61

Marie, who is guarding the food supplies from the most recent food delivery at S.’s place.

To conclude, here’s another small “Where’s Waldo?”–style picture at our friend S.’s place, where you can spot Data, Hektor, Liane, Kaskader, Koko, Leiadera, Marie, Marios, Nikita, and Scotty:

Speaking of food deliveries guarded by cats:

With the most recent food donation mentioned above, our friends H. & I. also received two pallets of dry food from us via “Feed a Cat.” Since we make sure our food donations are as well-balanced as possible, we took this opportunity to top them up with some wet food as well. This helps our Andros cats cope even better outdoors.

The shop cat, Ruth, mentioned earlier, inspects the delivery:

If you would like to support us in ensuring that our Andros cats continue to be well cared for in the future, you are welcome to use our bank details our bank details or the GoFundMe fundraising campaign „Food for the Andros Cats“.

It’s even more convenient with a “food bowl subscription,” which you can find on our donation subscription page.

On behalf of our protégés on Andros, we would like to say a heartfelt thank-you for your support so far and wish you a great start to the new year!
